WORCESTER: Meregildo Raul Medina, 89, of Worcester, MA, passed away on March 9, 2023 at UMass Memorial Healthcare after a brief illness.

Raul was born April 13, 1933 in Jayuya, Puerto Rico to Jose Medina and Jaboba (Negron). He is predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Winnifred M. (Fowler) on December 28, 2013, and his step-grandson Raynond Diaz of Worcester in 1999 and his son Kelly Medina of Puerto Rico in 1992.

He leaves behind his loving stepdaughter Elizabeth Diaz of Worcester, MA, his devoted step-grandson Kenneth DIaz of Worcester, MA.

He was the best stepfather anyone could ask for. He also leaves his stepson Charles Blodgett and his companion Chris Godfrey of Amesbury, MA, his loving children Carmen Medina of New Bedford, Ricardo Raul and his wife Kim of Port Orange, FL, Ralph Medina Dolliver of Jacksonville, FL and Steven Medina of Michigan, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also leaves his sister-in-law Rosemarie MacCallum of Grafton, MA.

Raul worked previously at Minuteman National Historical Park in Concord, MA and Roger Williams National Memorial Park in Providence, RI.

Raul was loved by so many and will be so missed.

A graveside service will be held on Friday March 17th at 11:00am at Riverside Cemetery on Millbury Street in Grafton, MA.
