The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Felipe Cortez can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: To the Cortez family my sincere condolences to all. I was heart broken to hear about Mr Felipe! All the memories I have are helping working at the vfw canteen and cleaning the hall made me smile. He was a funny, hardworking, kind, gentle man. Thank you for all the years he gave in service as the canteen manager. Never complained even when he was tired I would make him seat down as a took over the shift. Will miss him and was glad to know him.
