Obituary for Krista Anne Zidowecki

LITCHFIELD, MAINE
Krista Anne Zidowecki - age 45, of Stevenstown Road, died June 3, 2015 at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta, ME after a brief illness.
She was born in Augusta, ME on Nov. 19, 1969 the daughter of Richard A. Zidowecki and Helen M. (Bristol) Zidowecki.
Krista attended schools in Litchfield, graduating from Oak Hill High School in 1987. She attended Alleghany College in Meadville, PA, majoring in Psychology and Communication Arts/Theater.
Krista lived and worked in several places in the Bangor and Saco areas of Maine, eventually returning to Litchfield. She was employed by Dollar Tree Store in Augusta.
She was a long time member of the Unitarian Universalist Community Church of Augusta. Over her lifetime, she participated in regional and national church events.
She will be remembered for her compassion and desire to help, her love of animals, and her sense of humor. She was an avid reader and liked to cook for family and others.
Krista is predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Margaret Bristol of Ocean Park, ME.
Surviving are her parents of Litchfield and a brother, Erik R. Zidowecki of Ocean Park, ME.
No public visiting hours are planned. A Memorial Service will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Community Church in Augusta on July 10, 2015 at 2 PM.
Memorial donations may be made to either: the Unitarian Universalist Community Church, 69 Winthrop St., Augusta, ME 04330, Kennebec Valley Humane Society, 10 Pet Haven Lane, Augusta, ME 04330 or a charity of your choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta, ME.
