Bill and Sue Wilt

I met Branson Williams almost two years ago at the Somerset County Military Family Support Group (SCMFSG) meeting. My wife, Sue, did not attend, but when I got home I told her that there were a number of very nice people at the meeting. There was one couple who stood out in my memory, Carole and the her husband, the man with an unusual name - Branson. We soon learned that it was not just his name that was not the norm or ordinary. Branson was a leader, a person who led by example - never asking anyone to do something that he was not already doing or willing to do. Branson invested his time, energy and money in our group. I never asked Branson what his priorities were in life, but having learned to know him over over the past two years, I would say his priorities of life were - God, Family and Country. As you know Branson was very active in his church, his smile and enthusiasm would tell you that he loved his family, and his pride in his work with the SCMFSG all would support my position that Branson Williams loved God, loved his family and loved the United States of America. Rest in peace, my friend, and let your love comfort your wife, Carole, your son, your daughters and your grandchildren. May God bless all of Branson's family and the United States of America.
