Peacefully at Wellington House in Prescott, on Tuesday May 17, 2022 age 90 years. Lee Allan Merkley of Lunenburg. Beloved husband of the late Florence (McEwan) Merkley. Loving father of Kevin Merkley (Melanie) of Cardinal and Roger Merkley (Donna) of Lunenburg. Sadly missed by 5 granddaughters Tamara, Tori, Amanda, Tawnya, Amber and 14 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents John and Nellie (Barnhart) Merkley and his siblings George, Don, Fred and Isabel. A graveside service in celebration of Lee Merkley's life will be held at Memorial Hill Cemetery Lunenburg on Tuesday May 24, 2022 at 11am. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
