Doris Spikes Jones entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 25, 2018 at the age of 74. She leaves to cherish her memories her beloved children Robert L. Jones and Maria A. Jones. Brother Phillip R. Spikes, Sr., sister Fern M. Spikes, God-children Cynthia Selman, Clauzell Bogan, Jr. and William L. Bogan. Preceded in death by her parents Willie, Sr. and Dora Spikes, two brothers Willie Spikes, Jr. and Robert L. Spikes. Doris was an employee of the Louisiana Superdome serving as a housekeeper for 25 + years retiring in 2005. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Relatives, friends, employees of Team Members of MB Superdome, Excala Technologies, Homeinstead, Judson/Services Masters and alumni of Walter L. Cohen Senior High School are invited to attend the Celebration of Life on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Pure Light Baptist Church 3944 Martin Luther King Blvd, New Orleans, LA. Visitation begins at 9:00 AM. Pastor Andre' Sigler will officiate. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, New Orleans.
