Mary Marguerite Revere Smith Mahoney, born August 16, 1919, the daughter of the late Mary Hall and Henry H. Revere, age 99, died on October 11, 2018.
She was the widow of Furman C. Smith and Francis R. Mahoney. Three brothers, Henry Hall Revere, Paul Revere, Ralph Revere and a sister, Hilda Duncan preceded her in death.
Marguerite is survived by her son, Philip R. Mahoney (Claire) and grandson, Carter Mahoney. Aunt Marguerite also has many devoted nieces and nephews that will cherish her memory.
She was a member of Warsaw Baptist Church, DAR, Colonial Dames, Associate Military Officers of America, Ladies Auxiliary VFW, Isaac Walton League and the Richmond County Museum.
The family would like to thank the staff at Commonwealth Assisted Living and Riverside Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Warsaw Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Warsaw Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to David Sisson Scholarship Fund at Rappahannock Community College, RCC-EFI, P. O. Box 158, Warsaw, VA 22572.
