Services for Tommy Scott Thornton, 44, riverboat captain, will be Saturday, September 22, 2018. Visitation will be 2 pm at Southern Funeral Home in Durant. Services will be 3 pm also at the funeral home with burial at Mizpah Cemetery in Durant.
Survivors are his wife, Amber A. Thornton; sons, Braden Ryan Thornton, Parker Scott Thornton and Swayer Shane Thornton; daughter, Hiley Claire Thornton all of Kosciusko; brother, Stephen Sloan Parkinson of Ridgeland and sister, Heather Cherie Pope of Tupelo.
Preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Leroy Thornton and Denise Eldridge Parkinson.
