John Matthew "Matt" Grubb, 46, of Bloomington passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born, July 29, 1972 in Bloomington, he was the son of John Wayne and Linda May (Sipes) Grubb.
Matt was a loving husband, father, and son who was recently baptized at Gospel Assembly in Bloomington. He was a landscaper for C & H Lawn and Landscaping Inc.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Stacy C. Grubb, children, Jessica Grubb of Bloomington, Janielle Grubb of Martinsville, Cody Grubb, and Gage Grubb both of Bloomington, grandchildren, Gabrielle, Brooklyn, Jacob, Jaxton, and Neveah Grubb, sisters, Robin Phillips (Robert), and Romona Quick, brothers, Tommy Grubb, Timmy Sipes (Lisa), Anthony, Billy, Bobby, Roger, and John Leon Grubb, several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Matt was preceded in death by his son, Jonathan Grubb, daughter, Danielle Prince, and father, John Wayne Grubb.
Visitation will be 4-8pm Monday, September 24, 2018 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday at The Funeral Chapel with Misty Flinn and Tammy Hooten officiating. Burial will be at Salt Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Funeral Chapel.
