Patricia A. Bundy, 58, passed away unexpectedly after emergency surgery Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the North Kansas City Hospital. Patty was born June 22, 1960 in Leavenworth, KS to James William and Ruth Viola (Estes) Kopp and raised in the Platte City, MO area. Patty was a member of the St. Therese Catholic Church where she married George Rodney Bundy on May 2, 1987. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and spending time on the family farm. Patty played an active role in her community as a member of FFA, and 4-H. She was also an avid NASCAR and soccer fan, helping to start AYSO in Platte City. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Linda Groves. Patty is survived by: her husband, George; her daughter Jamie; her son Zach; and her 2 grandchildren Hallie and Hiram. A visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 14, 2018 at Rollins Funeral Home in Platte City, MO. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 15 at St. Therese Catholic Church in K.C., MO. Interment will follow at the Platte City Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be given to The American Heart Association. Any flower arrangements should be delivered to the funeral home prior to the visitation.
