Gjergj Kastriot Begeja, son of Dr. Halim and Sulltana Begeja, died at his home in Long Island City, NY. He was 52.
Gjergj was born in Manhattan, New York on August 19, 1960. He has been a life long resident of Queens, NY.
He received his degree in Health Services from Queensborough Community College.
Gjergj had a life long passion for music, playing all types of guitar and the drums.
He is survived by his mother Sulltana Begeja, a brother and sister-in-law, Lee and Jennie Begeja and their children Christopher and Kathryn.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home, 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 16th, 2012 Visitation will be Sunday 1-3 PM at the funeral home.
Graveside Services will be Monday 11:30 AM at Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens, Queens, NY.
